Zinc finger DHHC domain-containing protein 13 (ZDHHC13) is present in the Golgi. The protein contains a zinc finger DHHC (Asp-His-His-Cys) domain. It is popularly called as HIP14L (Huntingtin-interacting protein 14-related protein).

Ações bioquímicas/fisiológicas

Zinc finger DHHC domain-containing protein 13 (ZDHHC13) contains palmitoyl acyltransferase activity, which mediates the post-translational modification of proteins in a process called palmitoylation. It plays a role in regulating cellular magnesium homeostasis.
