Informações sobre genes

human ... LRRK1(79705)

Descrição geral

Leucine-rich repeat serine/threonine-protein kinase 1 (UniProt: Q38SD2, Leucine-rich repeat kinase 1) is encoded by the LRRK1 (also known as KIAA1790) gene (Gene ID: 79705) in human. Leucine-rich repeat kinase 1 is a member of the ROCO family of protein kinases. Two isoforms of Leucine-rich repeat kinase 1 have been described that are generated by alternative splicing. It contains a ROC (Ras in complex proteins) domain together with a MAPKKK-like kinase domain and several protein protein interactions. It is reported to form a complex with activated EGFR via interaction with Grb2. Subsequently, it is internalized to early endosomes along with EGFR. Leucine-rich repeat kinase 1 also regulates EGFR transport from early to late endosomes and is involved in regulating the motility of EGF-containing early endosomes that is dependent on its kinase activity. Leucine-rich repeat kinase 1 is also reported to play a role in regulating bone mass and mice with defective gene are prone to osteoporosis, increased bone mineralization, and diminished bone resorption. Especificidade

Clone 12F2.1 detects Leucine-rich repeat serine/threonine-protein kinase 1 (LRRK1) in human. It targets an epitope within 86 amino acids from the internal region.

Imunogênio

GST/His-tagged recombinant fragment corresponding to 86 amino acids from the internal region of human Leucine-rich repeat serine/threonine-protein kinase 1.

Aplicação

Anti-LRRK1, clone 12F2.1, Cat. No. MABN2268, is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody that detects Leucine-rich repeat serine/threonine-protein kinase 1 (LRRK1) and has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) and Western Blotting.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:250 dilution from a representative lot detected LRRK1 in human cerebral cortex, human testis, and human pancreatic cancer tissues.

Qualidade

Evaluated by Western Blotting in human hypothalamus tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: 1 µg/mL of this antibody detected LRRK1 in 10 µg of human hypothalamus tissue lysate.

Descrição-alvo

~200 kDa observed; 225.39 kDa calculated. Uncharacterized bands may be observed in some lysate(s).
