DURAN® bromobutyl rubber closures provide a gas tight seal for GL 25 or GL 45 glass laboratory bottles. As a material Bromobutyl rubber is essentially impermeable to most gases, and the stopper provides a controlled environment inside the glass bottle for oxygen sensitive materials. Useful for maintaining anaerobic culture conditions. Bromobutyl rubber allows for multiple punctures providing easy access to the contents with a syringe.

  • Gas tight seal provides a controlled environment inside the bottle
  • Lot specific Certificate of Conformance (CoC) available
  • Elastic material for effective sealing and reliable self-sealing after needle piercing (21-gauge “21G” or smaller)
  • Multiple punctures providing easy access to the contents with a syringe
  • Stopper shapes and material properties optimised to fit DURAN® GL 25 or GL 45 bottles
  • Suitable for autoclaving / steam sterilising at 121 °C for 20 minutes
  • Wide usable temperature range: -50 to +121 °C
  • Septum for Head-space analysis
