General description

El pentaeritritol tetrakis(3,5-di-terc-butil-4-hidroxihidrocinamato) (PT) es un antioxidante fenólico estéricamente impedido y un termoestabilizador utilizado principalmente para intensificar la resistencia oxidativa y la protección contra la toxicidad de los disolventes. Tiene una temperatura de transición del vidrio de 50 0C y puede recocerse a temperatura ambiente.

Application

El PT puede utilizarse como aditivo para proteger la película de condensador de propileno biaxialmente orientado (BOPP) de la oxidación térmica en la exposición UV. También puede utilizarse como un material estándar para estudiar la pulverización catódica con iones gaseosos [gas-cluster ion sputtering (GCIS)] utilizando microscopia fotoelectrónica de rayos X (XPS) y microscopia de fuerza atómica (AFM).
