General description
We are pleased to offer these products from BioIVT. Offering isolated Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells(PBMCs) from whole blood procured from IRB-consented donors with clinicallydefined Crohn′sDisease.
Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) are asubset of leukocytes (or White Blood Cell, WBC), which are integral componentsof the body’s immune system that fight disease. PBMCs consist of a mixture oflymphocytes (T cells, B cells, and NK cells) and monocytes and are isolatedfrom peripheral whole blood via density gradient centrifugation and red blood celllysis.
Standard and custom clinical data collection andconfirmation ensures proper corresponding disease severity and treatmenthistory.
Clinical data may include: Medication (current andhistorical), Disease Severity, Harvey-Bradshaw Index (HBI), CDAI, SES-CD, MayoScore/DAI
PBMCs are provided with clinical data that hasbeen collected following a strict and standardized clinical data process. Allspecimens are reviewed for IRB approval.
