General description

MICROLON® 200 96W Microplate, well working volume 25-340 μL; total well volume 382 μL.
Polystyrene Multiwell plates from Greiner for immunoassay and high throughput screening applications. High binding plates are recommended for ELISAs. High binding denotes a binding capacity of 600 ng/cm2 and scatter of less than 10%. Optimal protein binding is variable and comparative tests between high and medium binding plates is suggested.

Other Notes

96 well flat (F) bottom medium binding microplate, without lid, ; alphanumeric well coding, length: 127.76 mm; width: 85.48 mm; curvature approx. 200 um.

Suitability

UsefμL in immunological assays. MICROLON 200 is a hydrophobic medium binding surface that will bind up to 200 ng/cm2 of non-polar proteins and peptides. Free of detectable DNase/RNase, human DNA and pyrogens.

This assay protocol is suitable for the colorimetric/fluorometric detection of Galactose and Lactose in cell and tissue culture supernatants, urine, plasma, serum, and other biological samples using the Galactose and Lactose Assay Kit (MAK011). In this assay kit, galactose is oxidized by galactose oxidase resulting in a colorimetric (570 nm)/ fluorometric (λex = 535 nm/λem = 587 nm) product, proportional to the galactose present.
