生化/生理作用

4-甲基伞形酮(4-MU)作为透明质酸(HA)合成阻断剂。它具有抗炎、抗纤维生成和抗肿瘤的特性。4-甲基伞形酮用于治疗胆汁痉挛,也可能对非酒精性脂肪性肝炎(NASH)、炎症、肝细胞损伤和纤维化反应有益。已知 4-甲基伞形酮被人类肝脏的大多数尿苷 5ฺ-二磷酸葡萄糖醛酸基转移酶(UGT)异构体葡萄糖醛酸化。这使其成为检测整个肝脏 UGT 活性的有效探针底物。
