磷脂酶A1（PLA1）催化卵磷脂Sn-1-位酰基的水解以生成溶血卵磷脂 。它在各种生物中表达，如大鼠血小板、牛脑和睾丸、大黄蜂毒液、鲣鱼肌肉和真菌。编码PLA1的基因为1,056bp的基因组DNA，包括四个外显子和三个短的内含子。成熟蛋白包括269个氨基酸和两个可能的N-糖基化位点（Asn27和Asn55）。
