生化／生理作用

表皮生长因子（EGF）有助于诱导细胞生长、增殖和分化。它可参与肾脏中肾组织的修复。它可借助瞬时受体电位阳离子通道6（TRMP6）促进镁的重吸收。EGF已被发现可参与药物性肾镁丢失的病理生理过程。
