环氧合酶 1 是一种分子量为 71 kDa 的膜结合蛋白，主要存在于内质网中。它有三个结构域，即表皮生长因子（EGF）样域、酶结构域和膜结合域。环氧合酶 1 介导前列腺素合成，并受抗炎非甾体药物调节。
應用

生化／生理作用
COX-1 催化花生四烯酸转化为前列腺素 H 2 （前列腺素、血栓素和前列环素生物合成的第一步）。它参与类花生酸的稳态角色，并在几乎所有动物组织中组成性表达。其中，花生四烯酸的表观 K M 为 8.3μM 。
