應用

生化/生理作用

葡萄球菌转肽酶 A 是一种细菌转肽酶,它通过在 LPXTG 识别基序的苏氨酸和甘氨酸之间切割,将蛋白质共价连接到细菌细胞壁,并催化苏氨酸的羧基和细胞壁肽聚糖的氨基之间形成酰胺键 [7]这种化学特性可用于将具有 C 端 LPETGX 基序的蛋白质/肽与其它具有甘氨酸或氨基亚甲基基序的蛋白质或分子进行位点特异性连接[8]
