本品由沙门氏菌菌种明尼苏达粒径Re 595(Re突变体)采用酚-氯仿-石油醚提取程序制备而成。来源菌株为 ATCC 49284。菌株 Re 595 的 LPS 中的一种独特结构显示可诱导人血小板分泌和聚集。
