牛关节软骨核心蛋白聚糖是一种蛋白聚糖，属于小富含亮氨酸重复序列蛋白聚糖和蛋白质（SLRP）家族。核心蛋白聚糖几乎存在于所有组织中。它有一个由富含亮氨酸重复序列（LRR）组成的蛋白核心，两侧是两个富含半胱氨酸的区域。

應用

牛关节软骨核心蛋白聚糖可用于固相结合试验（ELISA）、结合试验、结合抑制试验、寄生虫结合试验、支架制备、石英晶体微天平试验、CSA（硫酸软骨素A）结合抑制试验以及聚糖和聚糖生物素化。

生化／生理作用

核心蛋白聚糖在引导原纤维生成过程中胶原蛋白的正确组装中发挥重要作用。核心蛋白聚糖的缺乏会导致组织结构和功能的改变它可以控制EGF和TGF-β等生长因子。核心蛋白聚糖可在聚合化I型胶原蛋白的无细胞构建物中阻止原纤维聚集成纤维和原纤维生成。

其他說明

核心蛋白聚糖是一种约100kDa的蛋白聚糖，由一个40kDa的核心蛋白和一个软骨素或硫酸皮肤素粘多糖链组成。来自冻干前的0.2 μm过滤溶液。
