General description
Hyperfilm™ ECL™ film is double coated. It provides improved clarity that gives excellent contrast and band visibility in the detection of chemiluminescent signals on Western blot analysis.
Hyperfilm™ ECL™ film provides low background with reduction in visible artifacts, and excellent low concentration target detection. Hyperfilm™ ECL™ film is suitable for use with all blue and green light chemiluminescent systems and validated for use with ECL™ start reagent, ECL™ reagent, ECL™ Prime reagent, ECL Select reagent, and CDP-Star reagent.
Hyperfilm™ ECL™ film is constructed from a clear base coated on both sides with a photographic emulsion that is protected by an anti-scratch layer. The anti-scratch coating reduces the risk of visible artifacts (e.g., plastic wrap marks), and the clear colorless base results in easy reading of images without compromising on sensitivity.
Improve detection of lower concentration targets during chemiluminescence Western blot analysis by extending exposure times, without increasing background noise. Hyperfilm™ ECL™ film can be processed in automatic processors or manually in tanks and trays using most common x-ray film developers and fixers.
