General description
The Titrisol® concentrated buffer material combines ease of use and maximum precision for the routine calibration and monitoring of pH instruments. To prepare the ready-to-use pH buffer solution, simply dilute the Titrisol® buffer concentrate.
Application
- Optimizing oral bioavailability in pharmaceuticals: Buffer concentrate is integral to the formulation of proniosomal drug delivery systems, as seen in the development of Irbesartan formulations where it enhances solubility and stability, facilitating improved bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy (Mujtaba et al., 2024).
- Environmental remediation: In environmental science, buffer concentrate is used to adjust the pH of solutions, ensuring optimal conditions for the mediation of electron transfers in contaminant remediation processes, particularly in treatments involving heavy metals like chromium (Li and Zhang, 2024).
- Biomedical research: Buffer concentrates are crucial for maintaining pH stability in biomedical experiments, such as studies on hemoglobin mass in response to apnea, which require precise control over biochemical conditions (Keeler et al., 2024).
- Chemical analysis: In analytical chemistry, buffer concentrates are used to stabilize the environment during the voltammetric determination of dyes, ensuring accuracy and repeatability in the detection of chemical substances (Moulya et al., 2024).
Features and Benefits
- Traceable to primary standard reference materials from NIST and PTB
- Analytical standard Grade
- Uncertainty data and traceability are documented in a comprehensive and batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.
Analysis Note
Measured after dilution to 500 ml with a combination glass electrode after multiple point calibration (according to DIN 19268) with reference materials for the preparation of standard buffer solutions according to DIN 19266.
