Description

General description

A certified Snap-N-Spike^® solution suitable as starting material in calibrators or controls in LC/MS or GC/MS n-desmethylzopiclone testing methods for applications such as urine drug testing, clinical toxicology, or forensic analysis. N-desmethylzopiclone is a primary, inactive metabolite of zopiclone in urine and blood. The parent drug, zopiclone, is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic used in the treatment of insomnia.

<li><strong>Pharmacokinetic study of zopiclone metabolites:</strong> An in-depth examination of pharmacokinetics, focusing on zopiclone and its metabolites, including N-Desmethylzopiclone, to assess their distribution in hair samples post-administration it is used as an additional marker to confirm the intake of zopiclone (Hansen et al., 2020).</li>
