Neurexin-1-β (UniProt: P58400; also known as Neurexin I-beta) is encoded by the NRXN1 gene (Gene ID: 9378) in human. Neurexins are a large family of proteins that act as neuronal cell-surface receptors. Vertebrates contain three large neurexin genes, each of which expresses longer - and shorter β-neurexins, producing six principal neurexins (neurexins 1 , 2 , 3 and 1β , 2β, 3β). β-neurexins serve as receptors for neuroligin-1, post-synaptic membrane protein that triggers synapse formation at axon contacts. Within the presynaptic terminal, it is reported to be involved in the recruitment of scaffolding proteins and synaptic vesicles. Neurexin-1-β is a single-pass type I membrane glycoprotein that is synthesized with a signal peptide (aa 1-50), which is subsequently cleaved off to produce the mature form that contains an extracellular domain (aa 51-396), a transmembrane domain (aa 397-417), and a cytoplasmic domain (aa 418-472). Six isoforms of Neurexin-1-β have been described that are produced by alternative promoter usage and alternative splicing. This ZooMAb® recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals. Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 µL.

Rekonstytucja

Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
