General description
Native IgA purified from human myeloma plasma.
Native IgA purified from human myeloma plasma. Human immunoglobulin A1 purified from plasma of a myeloma donor. The isotype of the light chain (kappa or lamda) will vary from batch to batch depending on the starting material.

Preparation Note

Single arc by immunoelectrophoresis against antiserum to whole human serum & human IgA₁
Other Notes
IgA myeloma proteins are usually heterogeneous with respect to molecular weight; this preparation may contain both monomeric and multimeric forms of IgA1. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
