一般說明

胚胎丙酮酸激酶M2（PKM2）是在哺乳动物中发现的丙酮酸激酶（PK）的异构体之一。它由定位至人类染色体15q23上的PKM2基因所编码。PKM2在除成人肌肉、大脑和肝脏以外的所有细胞中表达。该蛋白质通常以活性四聚体形式存在。

免疫原

PKM2（AAH07640.1,1 a.a.约 531 a.a）具有 GST 标签的全长重组蛋白。仅 GST 标签的分子量为 26KDa。

Aerobic Glycolysis and the Warburg Effect

We presents an article about the Warburg effect, and how it is the enhanced conversion of glucose to lactate observed in tumor cells, even in the presence of normal levels of oxygen. Otto Heinrich Warburg demonstrated in 1924 that cancer cells show an increased dependence on glycolysis to meet their energy needs, regardless of whether they were well-oxygenated or not.
