生化／生理作用

三氟胸苷(TFT)是一种胸苷类似物，对光敏感。TFT可作为胸苷激酶底物，用于研究该酶的特异性和动力学。磷酸化TFT可掺入DNA，诱导DNA损伤，因而TFT适合用于研究DNA修复机制。TFT也可用于研究胸苷酸合成酶抑制机制和筛选胸苷激酶突变基因。它对胃肠道癌具有抗肿瘤活性，也可用于治疗疱疹病毒性角膜炎。
