环氧树脂包埋介质套装是电子显微镜中广泛使用的一种包埋介质。包埋配方最初由Luft发布(1961年),既适用于植物组织,也适用于动物组织。由于树脂粘度低,所以能比Araldite和其他聚合物更快地渗透到组织样本中。加入十二碳烯基琥珀酸酐(DDSA)、甲基萘二酸酐(MNA)和加速剂2,4,6-三(二甲氨基甲基)苯酚(DMP-30)后,它能在低温下快速且均匀地硬化。固化时可能产生细微收缩。此套装适用于包埋各种组织,通过针对特定组织类型调配使用两种不同的酸酐硬化剂(DDSA和MNA),可实现广泛的样品硬化。
