A potent, competitive, nonsteroidal inhibitor of aromatase (P450arom; IC₅₀ = 40 nM for human aromatase). Reported to be more potent than fadrozole in inhibiting aromatase activity. Does not significantly inhibit 17α-hydroxylase.

A potent, selective, nonsteroidal, competitive inhibitor of aromatase (P450arom) (IC₅₀ = 40 nM for human aromatase) Reported to be more potent than fadrozole in inhibiting aromatase activity. Does not significantly inhibit human 17α-hydroxylase (P450 17) (4% inhibition at 2.5 µM).
