應用
1-palmitoyl-2-azelaoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (PAzePC) may be used:,as an oxidized lipid dopant in liposomes for investigating the relationship between the permeation of H2O2 and the structure of lipid membranes, as a substrate for lysosomal phospholipase A2 during the study of structural basis of lysosomal phospholipase A2 inhibition by Zn2+, in the preparation of large unilamellar vesicles (LUVs) and giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs).
生化/生理作用
1-palmitoyl-2-azelaoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (PAzePC) is an oxidized lipid. PAzePC acts as an inter- H2O2 permeation promoter. It serves as a drug target for antipsychotic drugs and antimicrobial agents in cells under oxidative stress at inflammatory sites. PAzePC facilitates permeabilization of Bax associated-mitochondrial membranes under oxidative stress.
