对二甲氨基苯甲醛(4-二甲氨基苯甲醛)是含氨基和醛基的羰基有机物。可用作Ehrlich and Kovac′s吲哚检测试剂组分。对二甲氨基苯甲醛可用于通过Grignard格氏试剂制备醛类物质。此外,也可用作吡咯、伯胺和肼检测的显色试剂。
