δ-Tocopherol, a homolog of vitamin E, is a phytochemical with potent antioxidant activity. It has been investigated for its potential medical, biological, and physio-chemical applications.

Application

δ-Tocopherol may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in food and beverage products and crops by high-performance liquid chromatography technique.
