Molecole neutre, ammidi, acidi, esteri e ammine esibiscono notevole enantioselettività su queste fasi solide basate sulla vancomicina. Un′ampia varietà di ammine secondarie e terziarie sono state separate su colonne CHIROBIOTIC^® V in modalità ionica polare. Le colonne CHIROBIOTIC^® V esibiscono molte delle caratteristiche separative tipiche delle fasi stazionarie basate su proteine unite ad eccezionale stabilità e capacità per il campione molto più elevata. Hanno consentito di risolvere alcuni analiti chirali che in letteratura non risultano essere stati separati su nessun′altra fase stazionaria. Le fasi CHIROBIOTIC^® V e V2 differiscono nella chimica di legame e nella dimensione dei pori delle particelle di supporto, presentando quindi selettività e capacità preparative differenti.
