Cyclohexane is a nonpolar, flammable liquid that belongs to the group of cycloalkanes. In general, cyclohexane is obtained by hydrogenation of benzene and predominately used in the nylon industry. It also finds application in pharmaceutical applications.

Applicazioni

Cyclohexane can be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for residual solvent analysis in pharmaceutical formulations and raw materials by gas chromatography.
