Informações sobre genes
human ... IL15(3600)
Descrição geral
Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is a four α-helical bundle cytokine expressed in the immune system as well as in the skeletal muscles. The IL-15 gene is mapped to human chromosome 4q31.21.
The Human IL-15 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human IL-15 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.
Imunogênio
Recombinant Human IL-15
Aplicação

Ações bioquímicas/fisiológicas
Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is an immunomodulatory cytokine, that plays a key role in the cluster of differentiation CD8+ T cell memory.. It plays a crucial role in the healing of chronic wounds. IL -15 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases.

Based on the important role of interleukin-15 (IL-15) in human metabolism and, in consequence, in body composition modulation, we examined whether rs1589241 and rs1057972 polymorphisms, analyzed individually or in combination, would influence the effects of a training program. Accordingly, we

Interleukin-15 (IL-15) plays an important role in adaptive immune systems in vertebrates with similar bioactivities to interleukin-2 (IL-2). Here we report molecular cloning, sequence analysis and distribution of an IL-15 homologue from a pufferfish (Tetraodon nigroviridis). It is located within

Chronic wounds represent a significant burden to health services and are associated with patient morbidity. Novel methods to diagnose and/or treat problematic wounds are needed. Interleukin (IL)-15 is a cytokine involved in a number of biological processes and disease states such

Interleukin (IL)-15 is a dangerous inflammatory cytokine that induces tumor-necrosis factor-alpha, IL-1beta and inflammatory chemokines. It inhibits self-tolerance mediated by IL-2 mediated activation-induced cell death and facilitates maintenance of CD8+ memory T-cell survival including that of self-directed memory cells. Disordered

Despite its aggressive nature, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) often exhibits leucocyte infiltrations that correlate with favorable prognosis. In this study, we offer an explanation for this apparent conundrum by defining TNBC cell subsets that overexpress the IL15 immune receptor IL15RA.
