Anti-SIRT1 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. Sirtuin 1 is a protein encoded by the SIRT1 gene in humans. It is a class III histone deacetylase. It plays an important role in biological functions (such as lifespan, stress, and inflammation) through deacetylation of histone and nonhistone proteins. This gene is involved in the chondrogenic development of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). It may be associated with the progression of colorectal cancer.
