Krytox^® low vapor pressure (LVP) grease is a non-reactive heat-stable lubricant.

Anwendung

Krytox^® LVP grease has been used to seal the holes in septa during Strecker synthesis. It has also been used to lubricate the O-rings of stainless-steel syringe plunger for basic continuous flow equipment: assembly of a reactor coil.

• Performs at low pressures (vapor pressures as low as -1.0 x 10-13 torr at 20 °C (68 °F))
• Suitable for extremely high or low temperatures (temperatures ranging from -15 to 300 °C (5 to 572 °F))
• Compatible even in the presence of hostile chemicals or gases
• Outperforms hydrocarbon, silicone, and chlorofluorocarbon greases
