General description

Sigma disposable 15 mL centrifuge tubes are available as clear polyethylene terephthalate (PET) tubes with a traditional plug seal cap or polypropylene (PP) tubes with either plug seal caps or the new easy-on/easy-off top offering advanced ergonomics with its wider knurls and roll-over edge design. The Sigma centrifuge tubes are available as polypropylene tubes either racked or bulk packed.

  • Sterile, certified nonpyrogenic and DNase-/RNase-free
  • Black printed graduations and a large white marking spot
  • Maximum RCF for PET tubes is 3,600xg

Cultrex® 3-D Culture Matrix™ RGF BME is the first Basement Membrane Extract produced and qualified specifically for use in 3D culture studies.

The 96 Well 3D Spheroid BME Cell Invasion Assay utilizes 3D Culture Qualified 96 Well Spheroid Formation Plate alongside a specialized Spheroid Formation ECM to drive aggregation and/or spheroid formation of cells.

The 3-D Spheroid Fluorometric Proliferation/Viability Assay offers a high content format for inducing tumor spheroid formation and quantitating cell viability within the spheroids using resazurin fluorescent detection.

3-D Culture Matrix™ Collagen I may be used as a gel on which to grow cells or a media additive alone or in concert with other basement membrane components to study cellular growth and differentiation in three dimensions in vitro.
