Specificity

Reacts with both the constitutive (HSP73) and inducible (HSP72) forms of HSP70.

POSITIVE CONTROL:

HeLa cells, BT474 cells or breast carcinoma.

Immunogen

HSP70 from HeLa cells.

Application

Immunoblotting: 0.5-1 μg/mL

Immunohistochemistry (frozen and formalin/paraffin): 2-4 μg/mL for 2 hours at room temperature. Staining of formalin fixed tissue sections requires boiling the tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Immunoprecpitation: 2 μg/mg protein lysate (use Protein G)

Flow cytometry

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
This Anti-Heat Shock Protein 70 Antibody, clone W27 is validated for use in IP, WB, IH(P) for the detection of Heat Shock Protein 70.

Advanced ovarian cancer usually spreads to the visceral adipose tissue of the omentum. However, the omental stromal cell-derived molecular determinants that modulate ovarian cancer growth have not been characterized. Here, using next-generation sequencing technology, we identify significantly higher levels of

E-cadherin, a fundamental component of the adherens junction, is known to mediate aggregation-dependent cell survival. We have previously identified a novel, calpain-dependent proteolytic cleavage of E-cadherin that resulted in the generation of a stable 100-kDa E-cadherin fragment (E-cad(100)) in prostate
