General description

Our battery-grade 1.2 M LiPF6 in EC/DMC=30/70 (w/w) + 1wt.% VC solution is an electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries. It contains a 1.2 M concentration of lithium hexafluorophosphate in a mixture of ethylene carbonate (EC), dimethyl carbonate (DMC), and vinylene carbonate (VC). Our electrolyte has been carefully purified to minimize impurities such as water, acid, and metals. It is packaged in an aluminum bottle under inert, dry conditions.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Click here for more information.

Application

Our 1.2 M LiPF6 in EC/DMC=30/70 (w/w) + 1wt.% VC battery-grade electrolyte solution has been engineered to provide excellent safety, thermal stability, and superior performance for use in lithium-ion batteries. Its formulation of ethylene carbonate (EC), dimethyl carbonate (DMC), and vinylene carbonate (VC) offers high electrochemical stability and low viscosity, while the VC additive contributes to the formation of a solid-electrolyte interface (SEI) that enhances performance and resistance to thermal damage at high operating temperatures. DMC, with its lower viscosity and flammability, sets this electrolyte solution apart from the more commonly used EMC formulation. Our electrolyte is compatible with various cathode and anode materials, such as graphite, lithium metal, LFP, and NMCs, offering flexible battery design options across different applications from electric vehicles to portable electronics
