General description

Anti-OR51E2 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total OR51E2 protein.

OR51E2 (olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily E member 2),also known as PSGR, codes for a G-protein–coupled receptor. It is a member of the odorant receptors family. OR51E2 is present in early endosomes. It is mapped to human chromosome 11p15.

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human OR51E2.

Immunogen Range: 221-270

Biochem/physiol Actions

OR51E2 (olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily E member 2) helps to mediate rapid, non-genomic, steroidal signaling in prostate cancer cells. It also promotes the growth of early prostate cancer.
