Cell Line Description

The antibody recognises a pan T cell antigen, the rat equivalent of CD5, which has a molecular weight of 69kDa.

Immunogen

Rat thymocyte glycoproteins depleted of LC-A, W3/13 antigen and Thy-1

Culture Medium

RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)

Subculture Routine

Seed at 5x10,000 viable cells/ml. Subculture when cells reach 5x100,000-1x1,000,000 cells/ml (usually after 3-4 days); 5% CO₂; 37°C.
