General description

ECO Brij® C10 is an ethoxylated natural fatty alcohol, a nonionic bio-based surfactant produced from naturally occurring straight chain cetyl alcohol. This naturally derived detergent offers a number of functional benefits including detergency, wetting and dispersing making it suitable for a range of applications in biochemical and biological research.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. This product is a biobased surfactant and is aligned with the 7th principle of Green Chemistry "Use of Renewable Feedstocks" and the 10th principle "Design for Degradation".

Application

Brij® C10 is a surfactant that can be used for applications such as: improving the wetting of PEDOT:PSS which can further be used in the fabrication of thin film transistors, formation of reverse micelles for the synthesis of high yielding nanostructures, in the preparation of platinum electrode for fuel cell applications
