Dilysocardiolipin is composed of two acyl chains.

Application

Dilyso Heart CA has been used as a lipid standard for the determination of mitochondrial cardiolipin content by high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC).

Biochem/physiol Actions

Dilysocardiolipin acts as an acyl donor to monolyso-phosphotidylcholine. It accepts acyl group from phosphotidylcholine.
