生化／生理作用
Bromodomains are mainly involved in recognition of acetylation sites in proteins. BRD9 (bromodomain-containing protein 9) associates with BAF-type (BRG1/BRM-associated factors) SWI/SNF (SWItch/Sucrose Non-Fermentable) chromatin remodelling complexes and is a core component of SWI/SNF complexes. Copy number variation in BRD9 is linked with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and cervical cancer tumor (3).
