應用
人肌酸激酶BB部分已被用于研究急性心肌梗死后晚期经皮冠状血管介入治疗对患者的生存益处。人肌酸激酶BB组分也已用于分析蛋白氧化和由此导致的功能损失的研究中。
生化／生理作用
本品用作ELISA法监测脑脊液水平的对照品。肌酸激酶（CK）BB是CK基因家族的成员，是大脑中存在的胞质CK同工型。实测分子量为35-50 kDa。CKs催化ATP和肌酸之间磷酸基的可逆转移。它在神经细胞ATP水平的调节中起重要作用。因此，CK BB活性的降低是与年龄相关的神经退行性疾病（例如阿尔茨海默氏病，皮克氏病和路易体痴呆）中CNS细胞损伤的生化标志之一。
