生化／生理作用
亲和素、链霉亲和素或ExtrAvidine与生物素之间的高亲和力令生物素-亲和素系统成为极其有效的分子生物学、蛋白化学和免疫学工具。各种试剂（亲和素、链霉亲和素或ExtrAvidine标记FITC、TRITC、过氧化物酶或碱性磷酸酶）利用生物素化兔IgG抗体的高特异性和生物素-亲和素复合体的稳定性，对兔IgG进行检测和定量。
