一般說明

二硫苏糖醇是用于蛋白质分析的一种有效还原剂。在制备用于电泳或其他应用的样品时,密封安瓿形式更加方便且易于使用,并且可避免浪费和效力损失。
二硫苏糖醇(DTT)在蛋白质组学应用中用于保护还原态中的巯基(-SH),也用于二硫基(-S-S-)基团的定量还原。由于其能够还原蛋白质样品的氧化态并保留酶活性,它是一种常用的缓冲液试剂。在溶液中其它二硫化物的还原过程中,DTT被氧化为环状二硫化物。
