IgG是一种单体免疫球蛋白，由两条重链和两条轻链组成。每个分子有两个抗原结合位点。IgG是最丰富的免疫球蛋白。它在血液和组织液中的分布大致相等，占人血清免疫球蛋白的75%。这是唯一可以通过人类胎盘的亚型，从而在胎儿自身免疫系统发育之前，在其生命的最初几周内为胎儿提供保护。有4个子类：IgG1（66%），IgG2（23%），IgG3（7%）和IgG4（4%）。
特異性
该抗体与人IgG的重链和大多数人免疫球蛋白共有的轻链反应。

外觀
使用与琼脂糖珠偶联的抗原通过免疫亲和层析纯化。冻干。缓冲液是0.01 M磷酸钠、0.25 M NaCl，pH 7.6，含15 mg/ml BSA和0.05%叠氮化钠。
免疫亲和纯化
儲存和穩定性
在接收之日起，将冻干产品在产物2°-8°C下保存长达12个月。复溶后，产品作为未稀释的液体在2°-8°C下稳定6周。用2 mL蒸馏水复溶小瓶。要延长复溶后溶液的保存时间，请添加等体积的甘油，使甘油的最终浓度达到 50％，然后以未稀释的等分试样置于 -20°C 下可保存长达 12 个月。请注意，添加甘油后，抗体（和缓冲盐）的浓度将降低至原浓度的一半，并且必须相应地调整最终的工作稀释度。应避免反复冻融循环。
