一般說明

柠檬酸铁(技术级)为棕色至暗橙色粉末。可溶于水,但不溶于大部分有机物,包括乙醇。该粉末对光敏感;同很多羧酸铁一样,蓝光还原柠檬酸铁,形成Fe2+离子,同时氧化羧基生成二氧化碳。柠檬酸铁在460 °C下热分解为α-Fe2O3

應用

柠檬酸铁可作为前体合成各种含铁物质。常用于水热法制备Fe3O4 纳米粒子或Fe3O4-纳米复合材料,热解和溶胶-凝胶法制备Fe2O3材料。柠檬酸铁的高水溶性和无机低溶性十分适合用于溶胶-凝胶技术。柠檬酸铁作为重要前体合成掺铁和含铁金属氧化物,用于锂离子电池正极。

还可降解四环素用于污水处理。
