應用

采用苹果酸脱氢酶对银杏提取物对寄主钉螺的软体动物的杀灭作用进行了比较研究。 它还被用于研究早期饲养限制对肉鸡代谢程序和补偿性生长的影响。

生化/生理作用

真核细胞含有两种不同的苹果酸脱氢酶同工酶:线粒体同工酶(m-MDH)和可溶性或细胞质同工酶(s-MDH)。该产品由线粒体同工酶形式组成。
该酶可催化以下反应:草酰乙酸+β-NADH→ L-苹果酸+β-NAD
通过在25℃下用5′-磷酸吡哆醛处理可以可逆地对苹果酸脱氢酶进行灭活。

單位定義

在pH7.5,25℃条件下,一个单位每分钟可将1.0 μmole的草酰乙酸和β-NADH转化为 L苹果酸和β-NAD。
