5-羧基吲哚-3-乙酸(5-HIAA) 是血清素途径的分解代谢终产物。5-HIAA存在于体液中,如脑脊液(CSF)、血液和尿液。正常患者和癌症患者具有不同的5-HIAA表达水平。墨蝶呤还原酶缺乏可导致脑脊液中的5-HIAA水平降低。患有儿童注意力缺陷多动障碍(ADHD)的1型双相障碍患者的脑脊液5-HIAA水平较低。
應用
