生化/生理作用

组蛋白是一组DNA结合蛋白,其特征是赖氨酸和精氨酸含量较高。组蛋白的分子量在11-21 kDa之间,取决于具体级分。分离和表征了五种不同的组蛋白级分。H1富含赖氨酸、H2a和H2b略微富含赖氨酸、H3和H4富含精氨酸。H1用于连接染色质链上的各个“念珠”(nu bodies)。

不要将Sigma“类型”名称与Luck及其同事使用的“分级”名称混淆。
