Derived from the liver of a Wistar rat. Useful in quantitative carcinogenesis studies. Inoculation into new born rats is more sensitive than nude mice for detection of tumorigenicity of rat liver lines.

DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

例行更新培養

Split sub-confluent cells 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. 2-4x10,000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO₂; 37°C.
