Baseclick EdU Flow Cytometry Kit为直接检测DNA合成提供了替代BrdU和[3H]thymidine检测的出色方法。EdU(5-乙炔基-2'.-脱氧尿苷)是一种胸苷核苷类似物,在活性DNA合成期间掺入到DNA之中。与BrdU检测法不同,EdU Flow Cytometry Assay不依赖抗体,因而不需进行DNA变性来检测掺入的核苷。恰恰相反,EdU Flow Cytometry Kit利用点击化学法来检测不同种类的染料荧光示值。此外,该试剂盒的实验方案经过简化,减少了总步骤数同时大幅缩减了总耗时。简单的点击化学法检测步骤可在30分钟内完成,在结果的内容和情境丰富程度方面,堪比多重分析方法。
