一般說明
Myo-肌醇(肌醇的立体异构体),一种水溶性六碳环化合物,是多种细菌、真菌和酵母菌生长所必需的物质。肌醇也是各种含有肌醇磷酸盐和脂质的具有生物功能的化合物的前体。它是膜磷脂,将糖蛋白结合到细胞膜的糖基磷脂酰肌醇锚和磷酸肌醇的第二信使的成分。Myo-肌醇在细胞形态建成和细胞生成,脂质合成,细胞膜结构和细胞生长中发挥着重要作用。多种细菌可以以Myo-肌醇作为唯一碳源生长。
