一般說明
尽管PI(4,5)P2是细胞膜的微量组成成分,但它作为许多重要信号蛋白的底物起着关键作用。PI(4,5)P2是IP3/DAG途径中的中间体,其中它被磷脂酶C水解以释放第二信使,肌醇-1,4,5-三磷酸(IP3)和二酰基甘油(DAG)。PI(4,5)P2也是PI 3-激酶的底物,其可被磷酸化为PI(3,4,5)P3,从而作为下游信号组分,例如蛋白激酶AKT的激活剂。
磷脂酰肌醇是一种结构性磷脂。磷脂酰肌醇磷酸(PIP)位于质膜中。

18:1 PI(4,5)P2可用作天然巨噬细胞膜的添加剂,以生成富含磷脂的膜脂质体。它还可用于:
